Art Craft Custom Fireplace Mantels

Shipping Information

Art Craft Mantels will arrange for shipping to the nearest truck depot or to your house or business if you prefer. Direct shipping is more expensive. Crating runs $125 and shipping will be at cost. You can also arrange for your own shipping or pick the unit up if you prefer.

All mantels are shipped enclosed in a very sturdy and rigid crate. On the inside, the top and bottom of the crate are enclosed with ½" foam sheeting. The mantels will be secured with mounting strips which will be secured to the bottom of the pallet. There will be a box between the legs from floor to ceiling to give center support.

Clear instructions will be included, not only in the mounting of the mantel but on the outside of the pallet. The instructions will be stenciled to enable you to easily remove the mantel from the pallet. Everything on the outside of the pallet will be color coded.

Damaged crating resulting in damaged goods will be the fault of the shipper. We will either repair or rebuild and reship at no cost to you if the following procedures are followed: It the responsibility of the buyer to look the crate over for damage at the time of delivery or pickup.

If any damage to the crate is noticeable, insist that the shipper wait while you open it. If the mantel is damaged, show the shipper immediately and do not accept it. Call Art Craft Mantels immediately.

If upon opening you find the mantel and its crate damaged notify the shipper immediately and call AC Mantels immediately. If the crating is not damaged and the mantel is, we will, at our expense, pay shipping both ways, repair or rebuild and reship.

If the measurements are as stated by the buyer and the mantel does not fit, it will be the buyers responsiblity. We will of course work with you as best we can.

We will gladly refund your money if there is a case of faulty workmanship or misrepresentation.
